In my previous job at a major travel company, I took care of Japanese expatriates and companies in South America.
With the cooperation of many people from the Japanese community, I learned the unique business customs of South America and realized how challenging the country was, which inspired me to start a business that could provide the speed, quality, and meticulous service demanded by Japanese people.
With nearly 10 years of experience in the travel industry in Brazil, we aim to be the only local operator who can thoroughly propose and explain the often confusing local details of a place very far from Japan. We study daily to achieve this.

Since childhood, I have been interested in other countries, and during my university days when I started earning money and even after entering society, I would think about where I wanted to go whenever I had free time. (I couldn't easily leave Japan because the money didn't follow, though...) There were times when I would only have a rough plan, clutching just a plane ticket, and set off alone from Narita.
Currently, I am living in South America, something I never imagined. These days, I think, "You never know what life will bring."
However, as I began living in Ecuador, I encountered Ecuador's wonderful tourism resources and crafts, and I wanted more people around the world to know about them, hoping it would contribute even a little to the country's development, so I knocked on the door of a local travel company.
A place you think of as 'far away' on the other side of the world might feel much closer once you visit. Let's forget the everyday and share new encounters and experiences together. We await you on the other side of the world.

What kind of country is Belize?

Belize is a small country in Central America with very beautiful beaches.
Belize has an average annual temperature of 26°C, and in the evening, a refreshing breeze blows, making it comfortable. The Caribbean Sea stretches to the east, allowing you to enjoy marine sports.
The inland subtropical forests are home to numerous animals, and you can encounter rare animals at zoos and on eco-tours.
Additionally, having once been a center of the Mayan civilization, Belize has over 20 Mayan ruins.
Also, seafood like lobster is delicious, and being close to Mexico, tacos are also tasty.
Why not enjoy Belize, a small country with many different faces?

Cash, cards and currency exchange
Many places accept credit cards, but small shops may have a minimum amount required for use, such as 'only above ~ dollars,' or add a 5% fee to the amount used. Additionally, supermarkets and other places may require ID when using a credit card. In Belize, the main credit card companies accepted are VISA, MASTER, and American Express.
You cannot exchange Japanese yen for Belize dollars.
There is no need to exchange money from US dollars to Belize dollars. In Belize, there is a fixed rate of BZ$2 = US$1, so you can pay with US dollars anywhere, regardless of the size or type of business. You can pay with a mix of US dollars and Belize dollars, and your change may also be mixed.
Exchanging Belize dollars to US dollars can be difficult or at an unfavorable rate, so it is recommended to use up your Belize dollars during your stay.
It is better to bring small denomination US dollar bills. Large bills may be refused because change cannot be provided.
Tips
Porter: 1-2 US dollars per piece of luggage
Tip for housekeeping: 1-2 US dollars per night
Driver: 10 US dollars per day
Guide: 20 US dollars per day
For optional tours, a tip of 5% to 10% of the tour fee is a guideline. A tip of around 1-2 US dollars may be considered rude, so please be careful. Guides see tips as a sign of customer satisfaction, so while it's not obligatory, if you feel you received good service, it's a good idea to have it ready in your pocket to give smoothly.
Restaurants, etc.: Around 5% to 10%
Some places include a service charge, but even if paying by credit card, it is customary to leave an additional tip of about 5% to 10% when leaving.
Public Safety
Please be cautious of pickpockets and theft, and refrain from walking alone at night.
Clothing
Throughout the year, wearing summer clothing as in Japan is generally fine. However, from December to February, temperatures can drop in the mornings and evenings, and some places may have excessive air conditioning, so having a long-sleeved shirt is convenient. Especially in places like San Ignacio, it can get chilly in the mornings and evenings.
The dry season is said to be from November to April, and the rainy season from May to October, but in recent years, prolonged rains have occurred, and there can be downpours even in January, so wearing a raincoat is convenient as it leaves your hands free.
Things you should bring with you
・Insect repellent
Insect repellent is sold locally, but it is strong, so those with sensitive skin should be cautious. Also, when visiting ruins and other places, there are many areas with a lot of mosquitoes. Lightweight long sleeves and long pants (light colors are less likely to attract mosquitoes) are recommended.
・Sun protection products
The UV rays are strong, so be sure to use sunscreen even on cloudy days. If you neglect protection, you may end up with swelling that requires a hospital visit, so please be very careful.
·rain gear
There is a high possibility of sudden showers throughout the year, so prepare an umbrella or raincoat.
Disinfectant wet wipes and spray
These can help prevent food poisoning, etc. Also, bring stomach medicine, cold medicine, mobile battery, etc.
Visa availability and arrangements
Japanese nationals do not need a visa for stays of up to 90 days. Stays longer than 90 days can be extended within Belize.
Required vaccinations
There are no mandatory vaccinations required upon entry, but if entering from a yellow fever endemic area, a vaccination certificate is required.
