In my previous job at a major travel company, I took care of Japanese expatriates and companies in South America.
With the cooperation of many people from the Japanese community, I learned the unique business customs of South America and realized how challenging the country was, which inspired me to start a business that could provide the speed, quality, and meticulous service demanded by Japanese people.
With nearly 10 years of experience in the travel industry in Brazil, we aim to be the only local operator who can thoroughly propose and explain the often confusing local details of a place very far from Japan. We study daily to achieve this.

Since childhood, I have been interested in other countries, and during my university days when I started earning money and even after entering society, I would think about where I wanted to go whenever I had free time. (I couldn't easily leave Japan because the money didn't follow, though...) There were times when I would only have a rough plan, clutching just a plane ticket, and set off alone from Narita.
Currently, I am living in South America, something I never imagined. These days, I think, "You never know what life will bring."
However, as I began living in Ecuador, I encountered Ecuador's wonderful tourism resources and crafts, and I wanted more people around the world to know about them, hoping it would contribute even a little to the country's development, so I knocked on the door of a local travel company.
A place you think of as 'far away' on the other side of the world might feel much closer once you visit. Let's forget the everyday and share new encounters and experiences together. We await you on the other side of the world.

What kind of country is the Dominican Republic?

The Dominican Republic is a country surrounded by the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, and it is a popular resort destination, especially among Westerners.
There are world-class golf courses, beautiful beaches with white sand and cobalt blue seas, and many resort hotels with casinos and other facilities.
With an average annual temperature of 27 degrees, you can see many tourists relaxing on the beach all year round.
Many people spend a leisurely day at various facilities within the resort hotels. Going outside to explore the historic streets is also popular.

Cash, cards and currency exchange
Exchanging Japanese yen to Dominican pesos has a very poor rate, so it is advisable to obtain dollars or euros in advance and then exchange them for Dominican pesos locally.
Credit cards can be used in most places such as restaurants, hotels, and shops in tourist areas. ATMs are also available, and you can withdraw cash using international cash cards or credit cards. However, since ATMs may sometimes be out of order, it is safer to use ATMs inside banks.
Tips
There is generally no tipping custom.
Hotel room maids and bellboys: Tipping is unnecessary as it is included in the accommodation fee.
Taxis: There is no need to tip unless you request something special.
Public Safety
The Dominican Republic is considered relatively safe among Latin American countries. However, crimes targeting tourists are still frequent, and overall security seems to have deteriorated in recent years.
The incidence of armed robbery and snatching is more than 30 times higher compared to Japan. These incidents occur both day and night, but extra caution is needed at night.
Due to its proximity to Colombia, the Dominican Republic seems to be a transit point for cocaine smuggling. Avoid actions that could make you a target for crime, such as following strangers or dressing conspicuously.
Clothing
Throughout the year, the daily temperature difference is significant, with daytime temperatures exceeding 30°C but dropping below 20°C at night on some days. Therefore, you can generally wear summer clothes, but it's reassuring to have a thick shirt or cardigan to layer.
Things you should bring with you
Stomach medicine, cold medicine, mobile battery, wet wipes, tissues, sun protection items, insect repellent, etc.
Visa availability and arrangements
Japanese nationals do not need to obtain a visa for stays of up to 90 days for tourism or business purposes.
If you plan to stay for more than 90 days for work, study, residence, or assignment, you need to obtain an entry visa from the Embassy of the Dominican Republic in Japan before traveling.
Required vaccinations
There are no mandatory requirements for travel. However, the following vaccinations are recommended.

Adults: Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Tetanus, Typhoid
Children: Routine vaccinations such as DPT (Diphtheria, Pertussis, Tetanus, Polio), BCG, Measles, Rubella, Chickenpox, Hib, Pneumococcal, Hepatitis B, and optional Mumps vaccination
