Bukhara to Samarkand
Early in the morning, travel by train from Bukhara Station to Samarqand.
Arrive in Samarkand in the early hours of the morning, you will fully enjoy Samarkand, the ancient city of the "Blue City" that has flourished since the days of the Silk Road.
Built during the Timurid Empire, Régikistan Square, which means "place of sand", was registered as a World Heritage Site in 2001 and is full of attractions with three seminaries: the Ulug Beg Madrasah, the Cher d'Or Madrasa and the Tilya Koli Moskmadrasa.
In addition, the beautifully decorated tomb of the king "Gurhi Amir Mausoleum", the huge Bibi Khanim Mosque, which is named after Timur's beloved wife and means "First Lady" or "Best Princess", the huge bazaar "Siyob Bazaar" in Samarkand, which is said to boast a history of more than 2,000 years, and the mausoleum and mosque with beautiful tiles and detailed mosaics are lined up in a straight line to preserve the appearance of that time. We will visit spots such as the "Shahězinda Mausoleum" and the "Ulugbek Observatory", which used to conduct detailed astronomical observations with almost the same system as today, although the main buildings have been lost.
