Recommended travel points
Ghandruk Trek to experience the breathtaking views of the Annapurna mountains, with peaks ranging from 7,000m to 8,000m, and the culture of the Gurung, a mountain ethnic group in Nepal.
This plan allows you to easily enjoy the beautiful nature and culture of Nepal.
Starting from Pokhara, you will visit traditional villages of the Gurung, who are also renowned as the British Gurkha soldiers.
The trek ends at Ghandruk (1,951 m). This beautiful village, rich in Gurung culture, is globally recognized as a successful example of ecotourism and is designated as a natural heritage site in Nepal.
A clear stream flows through the valley of the village, and vast terraced fields spread across the surrounding mountains. By the end of March, rhododendron flowers bloom in full, painting the mountains in pink.
The altitude is not very high, and with the accompaniment of Japanese-speaking guides and porters, it is recommended for first-time overseas trekking.
In trekking in Nepal, having the right equipment is key to success, so it is important to be fully prepared. The necessary equipment varies depending on the season, altitude, and difficulty. We will provide a recommended packing list and offer advice before the tour. Minor items can be purchased or rented in Kathmandu before starting the trek.
Activities involving risks, such as trekking, may not be covered by standard overseas travel insurance. To prepare for any emergencies, be sure to purchase overseas travel insurance that includes rescue costs and emergency medical evacuation expenses.
