In spring, the Netherlands—renowned as an agricultural powerhouse—bursts into bloom with a dazzling array of flowers.
While staying in the capital city of Amsterdam—where the beautifully preserved 17th-century streets, organized centuries ago and now registered as a World Heritage Site under the designation “17th-Century Concentric Canal District within Amsterdam’s Singel Canal” — you can witness various aspects of flower production, including how blooms are shipped via auctions, and visit Keukenhof Gardens, a must-see for any plant enthusiast.

By staying in one city and blending into local life, you can enjoy urban living while taking day trips to various locales to experience the quintessential spring landscapes, industries, and culture of the agricultural powerhouse that is the Netherlands.

The itinerary features quintessentially Dutch spots such as tulip fields, windmills, and cheese factories, as well as must-see attractions for anyone visiting the Netherlands like the Frans Hals Museum, the Rijksmuseum (home to works including Vermeer’s 'Girl with a Pearl Earring'), and the Anne Frank House.

While this itinerary offers a thorough exploration of Dutch culture and history, if there’s something not featured here that you’d like to experience, please consult one of Oooh’s local advisors.
You’re sure to enjoy a tailor-made trip filled with exactly the experiences you desire.

In the afternoon, you’ll visit the Anne Frank House.
This is the building where a Jewish family actually lived in hiding for over two years during World War II, famously recounted in 'The Diary of Anne Frank,' a book many read during their school days.
