Recommended travel points
Mount Kilimanjaro, which is registered as a World Natural Heritage site, is the highest peak on the African continent.
Kilimanjaro, one of the Seven Summits, the highest peaks on each of the seven continents, offers a variety of terrains and landscapes such as glaciers, desert areas, shrubs, and rocky areas. It is a mountain that anyone interested in mountaineering would want to climb at least once.
In this plan, after staying one night in the mountain climbing base town of Moshi, you will challenge climbing Mount Kilimanjaro over five days. For altitude acclimatization, it is also possible to arrange a six-day climb with two consecutive nights at Horombo Hut.
Experienced staff will assist you in having a safe and secure mountain climbing experience.
A chief guide, a sub-guide, a cook, and porters will accompany you, so please leave not only the climbing but also the care of meals and your luggage to us.
Example of tip per local staff member
Chief Guide USD20/day
Sub-guide, cook USD 15/day
Porter USD10/day
Driver for pick-up and drop-off USD10/day
"Tour highlights"
1. Marangu Route
"Marangu Route" is the most popular among the six routes for climbing Kilimanjaro, and the gradient is gentle up to the 4700m point.
It is easy to climb even for beginner hikers, and basic facilities are well-equipped.
Among the six climbing routes of Kilimanjaro, it is the only one with huts, so there is no worry about rain.
② Sunrise viewing from the summit of Kilimanjaro
Since we start climbing towards the summit from midnight, we can witness the sunrise!
The sunrise viewed from the 5,895m summit is so moving that it will become a lifelong memory, making you forget the hardships of the climb.
