    Hello, my name is Rufo!
9 years ago, my journey began in Norway. I was captivated by the breathtaking fjords, majestic mountains, and the beauty of cascading waterfalls, which sparked a passion for exploring the great outdoors of Scandinavia. Through this experience, I developed a desire to share the unique sense of tranquility and vitality that can only be felt in nature with many others. That feeling has been something I have experienced repeatedly while traveling through Finland's serene forests, Denmark's picturesque countryside, and Sweden's vast landscapes.
Camping near Norway's Preikestolen, exploring Bergen with a local guide, kayaking under the midnight sun, and discovering hidden gems across the Nordic region—based on these precious experiences, we want to help create an unforgettable Nordic adventure for you. Let's craft a special journey together that will leave lasting memories in your heart and a story you'll want to share with others!

What kind of country is Denmark?

Denmark consists of the Jutland Peninsula, nestled between the Baltic Sea and the North Sea, and Zealand Island, where the capital Copenhagen is located, along with nearly 500 surrounding islands of various sizes.

Known as the homeland of the author Andersen, famous for 'The Little Mermaid' and 'The Little Match Girl,' the country offers diverse landscapes with beautiful coastlines, fjords forming intricate shorelines, hills, and forests, blessed with stunning natural beauty.

Zealand Island, where Copenhagen is located, offers fairy-tale-like scenery with colorful streets and is home to four World Heritage Sites: Roskilde Cathedral, Kronborg Castle, Stevns Klint, and the Par Force Hunting Landscape. Additionally, there are many attractions such as Odense, Andersen's hometown, and Roskilde, where you can glimpse Viking history. Greenland, with its vast icy landscapes, is also a territory of Denmark.

There are direct flights from Haneda to the capital Copenhagen, so feel free to consult with Oooh's local coordinators!
We will shape your vague ideas into reality and create a tailor-made, inspiring journey to the Nordic region just for you.

Cash, cards and currency exchange
・The currency unit of Denmark is the 'Danish Krone' (dansk krone), abbreviated as DKK or kr. You can exchange money at local airports or banks.
・In Denmark, it is common to pay with credit cards even for small amounts, so there is no need to carry a lot of cash.
Tips
・Most hotels and restaurants include service charges in their fees, so tipping is not necessary.
・It is advisable to tip for certain services. Specifically, about DKK 5 for room service or porters, and DKK 10-20 for concierge or doormen if you make a request. For taxis or using toilets, giving small change like DKK 1 as a tip is fine. If service charges are not included in restaurants, a tip of about 7-10% is standard.
Public Safety
・Denmark is perceived as a relatively safe country among European nations, but there are numerous incidents of robbery, theft, and fraud.
・Theft targeting tourists occurs in places like Copenhagen, so caution is necessary.
Clothing
- Appropriate clothing varies by season.
・Due to the influence of the Gulf Stream, the climate is relatively mild for its latitude. The four seasons are also relatively distinct.
・Temperatures are generally about 10 degrees lower than in Japan. It is quite cold in winter, so warm clothing is necessary.
・Interiors are warm, so it is recommended to dress in layers for easy adjustment.

The passport must have a remaining validity of more than three months from the planned departure date and must have been issued within the last ten years.
