In my previous job at a major travel company, I took care of Japanese expatriates and companies in South America.
With the cooperation of many people from the Japanese community, I learned the unique business customs of South America and realized how challenging the country was, which inspired me to start a business that could provide the speed, quality, and meticulous service demanded by Japanese people.
With nearly 10 years of experience in the travel industry in Brazil, we aim to be the only local operator who can thoroughly propose and explain the often confusing local details of a place very far from Japan. We study daily to achieve this.

Since childhood, I have been interested in other countries, and during my university days when I started earning money and even after entering society, I would think about where I wanted to go whenever I had free time. (I couldn't easily leave Japan because the money didn't follow, though...) There were times when I would only have a rough plan, clutching just a plane ticket, and set off alone from Narita.
Currently, I am living in South America, something I never imagined. These days, I think, "You never know what life will bring."
However, as I began living in Ecuador, I encountered Ecuador's wonderful tourism resources and crafts, and I wanted more people around the world to know about them, hoping it would contribute even a little to the country's development, so I knocked on the door of a local travel company.
A place you think of as 'far away' on the other side of the world might feel much closer once you visit. Let's forget the everyday and share new encounters and experiences together. We await you on the other side of the world.

What kind of country is Paraguay?

Paraguay, a landlocked country surrounded by Brazil, Argentina, and Bolivia, is located in the heart of South America, making its capital, Asunción, a transit point for tourists traveling through South America.
The ruins of the Jesuit Missions, built as part of Christian missionary activities to the Guarani people, 'La Santísima Trinidad de Paraná and Jesús de Tavarangue Jesuit Missions,' are designated as a World Heritage Site.
Additionally, the cuisine is famous, featuring charcoal-grilled meat called asado, a bread called chipa made by kneading and baking cassava flour (mandioca), empanadas (South American-style meat pies), sopa paraguaya (a bread made from corn, cheese, and eggs), and hot dogs.

Cash, cards and currency exchange
・Exchange currency by obtaining US dollars in Japan beforehand and then exchanging them for Guarani locally. Places where you can directly exchange Japanese yen for Guarani are limited not only in Japan but also locally.
・In Paraguay, most restaurants, hotels, and souvenir shops accept credit card payments. Using a credit card has advantages such as not needing to carry large amounts of cash and lower fees. It is recommended to limit currency exchange to the minimum necessary and use a combination of credit cards and cash.
Tips
・Tipping is not very common. However, if you do tip, here are some guidelines.
・Restaurants: About 10% of the bill if the service is good.
・Hotels: About G.5000 if a porter carries your luggage, and a small tip for bed-making is considerate.
・Taxis: Generally not necessary.
Public Safety
・Paraguay is considered a safe country in South America, but it cannot be said to be as safe as Japan.
・In the capital, Asunción, tourists are frequently targeted by robbers, so constant vigilance is necessary. Other frequently reported incidents include pickpocketing, bag snatching, taxi overcharging, motorcycle theft, and skimming.
・Avoid carrying large amounts of cash, going out at night, or wearing conspicuous clothing.
Clothing
・In Paraguay, you need to prepare clothing according to the season. Note that the seasons are opposite to those in Japan.
・In summer, temperatures exceed 40°C, so cool clothing is sufficient. In contrast, winter can have snowfall, so warm clothing is essential. There are significant temperature differences within a day, so layered clothing that allows for easy temperature adjustment is recommended.
Things you should bring with you
Stomach medicine, cold medicine, mobile battery, insect repellent items, sun protection items, etc.
Visa availability and arrangements
・Japanese nationals do not need a visa for short stays of up to 90 days for tourism purposes. At that time, a passport with a minimum validity of 6 months is required for entry.
Required vaccinations
・There are no mandatory requirements for travel. However, vaccinations for tetanus, rabies, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, and yellow fever are recommended.
