Ancient Egypt, which developed writing, art, architecture, clothing, food, and housing over a long history of approximately 3,000 years from 3000 BC, has had a significant influence on the modern world as an advanced civilization.
The prosperity of ancient Egyptian civilization was the fertile land created by the Nile River. Along the Nile River, various ruins remain, and you can travel while feeling the Egyptian breeze on a cruise ship.

In this sample plan, you can thoroughly enjoy visiting the historical sites of Giza and Cairo, such as the world's oldest Step Pyramid of King Djoser, multiple pyramids including the three great pyramids of Giza, and the Sphinx Temple. Additionally, you will explore the Karnak Temple, Valley of the Kings, and the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, which are part of the World Heritage Site "Ancient Thebes with its Necropolis" along the Nile River. Furthermore, you will visit the Temple of Horus and Kom Ombo Temple, and finally extend your journey to Abu Simbel.

※ The sample price is based on accommodation in a four-star hotel. Hotel changes are possible according to your preferences, but the price will also change.

In the afternoon, you will visit the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut (also known as the Temple of Deir el-Bahari). This mortuary temple, dedicated to the sun god Amun-Ra, was built under the sheer cliffs east of the Valley of the Kings to honor Queen Hatshepsut, Egypt's first female pharaoh, and is located near the Valley of the Kings rather than the Valley of the Queens. The entrance is lined with large statues, and there are many highlights such as depictions of ancient trade and reliefs of gods including Anubis.

As its name suggests, the Temple of Horus is dedicated to Horus, the sky god in Egyptian mythology depicted as a falcon.

Then, move to Kom Ombo and visit the Temple of Kom Ombo. Built during the Ptolemaic dynasty, this temple is a very rare double temple with duplicated courtyards, halls, altars, and rooms for two gods, and is completely symmetrical along the main axis.

  • Day 6

    Aswan Philae Temple, Egypt

    Aswan

After arriving in the southern Egyptian town of Aswan, you will go sightseeing in Aswan with a guide.

We will visit the two types of Aswan Dams, old and new, which were built to prevent flooding of the Nile River and to secure irrigation water.

After that, we will visit the Philae Temple (Temple of Isis), which is part of the Nubian Monuments from Abu Simbel to Philae, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Egypt. It was built during the Ptolemaic Dynasty from the 3rd to 4th century BC. The temple walls feature reliefs depicting the figures of gods, including highlights such as reliefs representing the divinity of the goddess Isis, like the depiction of the source of the Nile. The current Philae Temple was relocated during the completion of the Aswan High Dam, but its previous appearance has been meticulously recreated in detail.

Additionally, in Aswan, which was an ancient city called Swenet and a southern frontier town in ancient Egypt, there are attractions such as the prestigious Old Cataract Hotel, known for Agatha Christie's writing of 'Death on the Nile.' So, if there's anything you'd like to do, feel free to consult us.

The Great Temple of Abu Simbel, considered the masterpiece of ancient Egyptian temple construction, is a rock-cut temple carved into a cliff protruding over the Nile River. At the entrance, there are four seated statues of Ramses II, hailed as the king of kings among the pharaohs of Egypt, each about 22 meters tall, with smaller statues of his mother, queen, sons, and daughters at their feet.
The Small Temple of Abu Simbel was built by Ramses II for his beloved queen Nefertari.
