• Day 1

  

  Istanbul → Mardin

  After arriving early in the morning at Istanbul Airport, transfer to Mardin via a domestic flight in Turkey.
  
  Spend the whole day exploring the old town of Mardin, an exotic city.
  
  Mardin is a city with stone buildings spread out on the slopes of Mount Mars. The diverse and unique scent of the Mesopotamian civilization, which is called the "cradle of civilization", wafts in the air. You'll visit the Mardin Museum, Mardin Castle (in the distance), Deirul Zafaran Monastery, the Grand Mosque, the Herkul Mosque, and more.
  
  Walk through the beautiful cityscape and climb to the top of the hill to admire the endless plains of Mesopotamia. It is a superb view that calms the mind quietly.
  
  Check into the hotel and have dinner.

• Day 2

  

  Mardin → Sanliurfa

  After breakfast at your hotel, travel by private vehicle to Şanlıurfa.
  
  You will visit the archaeological sites of global importance in the study of humanity, Göbekli Tepe and Karaghan Tepe.
  
  Göbekli Tepe is one of the oldest archaeological sites in the world. It is believed to have been built about 10,000 BC and 7,000 years before the Mesopotamian civilization. Massive stone pillars and stone carvings are characteristic of this site, and it is speculated that ancient rituals and religious activities preceded the development of agriculture. It was a discovery that overturned the established theory of human history, and excavations are still underway.
  
  Karahan Tepe is said to be even older than Göbekli Tepe. There are still many parts that have not been excavated, and in recent years, new human and animal statues have been excavated.
  
  After sightseeing, you will check into the hotel and have dinner.

• Day 3

  

  Sanliurfa

  In the morning, you will visit the Archaeological Museum of Sanliurfa and the Mosaic Museum, which are said to be one of the largest archaeological museums in Turkey.
  
  In the afternoon, we will visit the old town of Sanliurfa. You'll visit the birthplace of the prophet Abraham, Balukgöl, bazaars, and more.
  
  After sightseeing, return to the hotel for dinner.

• Day 4

  

  Sanliurfa → Gaziantep

  Breakfast at the hotel.
  We will cross the Euphrates River and travel to Gaziantep by private car.
  
  Visit the Zeugma ruins on the outskirts of Gaziantep.
  Once part of the Roman Empire, the ancient city played an important role as a commercial and cultural center. A major feature of the Zeugma ruins is the outstanding mosaic artwork. Combining elaboration and beauty, the mosaics depict mythology, scenes from everyday life, flora and fauna, and offer a glimpse into ancient art and culture.
  
  After lunch, visit the Zeugma Mosaic Museum, the largest in the world.
  
  After sightseeing, you will check into the hotel and have dinner.

• Day 5

  

  Departure → Gaziantep → Istanbul

  Feel free to spend the morning at your leisure.
  
  In the afternoon, you will visit Gaziantep Castle (distant view), bazaars, etc., and then transfer to Gaziantep Airport by private vehicle.
  You will return to Japan via Istanbul.
