Ayers Rock, located in the Northern Territory of Australia, is one of the world's largest monoliths and is known as a sacred site for the indigenous Aboriginal people.
Its official name is Uluru, and the sight of the rock changing color from red to orange to purple with the changing light during the day is breathtaking.

This model plan allows you to thoroughly enjoy the Ayers Rock area over 3 days.
On the first day, enjoy exploring the base of Ayers Rock and a mystical sunset tour.
On the second day, wake up a little early for trekking at Kings Canyon. You can choose from two trekking courses based on your physical condition.
The final day, the third day, starts with a sunrise tour, followed by a walk around the Olgas and Kata Tjuta.
This plan allows you to fully enjoy the Ayers Rock area over 3 days.

Detailed itinerary

  • Day 1

    Uluru and Wine in Australia

    Explore the Base of Ayers Rock & Sunset Tour

    Depart from Ayers Rock Resort.
    *Departure times vary by season.
    April to October: Around 14:45 to 15:25
    November-March: Around 15:15-16:10

    ★Culture Center Tour (approximately 45 minutes)

    ★Uluru Kuniya Walk (approximately 45 minutes)
    Take a guided walk along the approximately 1 km round-trip trail at the southern end of Uluru. Visit Mutitjulu Waterhole, which is steeped in Aboriginal legends, and view Aboriginal rock paintings.

    Move to the Ayers Rock sunset viewing area.
    ★Sunset Tour (approximately 40 minutes)
    Please enjoy the Ayers Rock, dyed red by the sunset, with a glass of Australian sparkling wine in hand.

    After that, return to Ayers Rock Resort around 18:30 to 20:30.
    The closing time varies depending on the season.
    Depending on your preference, you can also choose a plan that includes BBQ and stargazing.

    Kings Canyon in Australia

    Kings Canyon Trekking

    Departing from Ayers Rock Resort, heading to Kings Canyon.

    October to March: Around 4:00
    April to September: Around 4:45
    We will stop by Kings Creek Station along the way and take a breakfast break.

    Arrived at Kings Canyon.
    ★Trekking Tour (Please select ① or ② according to your physical ability)
    Canyon Walk (approximately 3 hours)
    Climb the sheer rock faces.
    ② Creek Walk (approximately 1 hour)
    Stroll through the valley of the gorge.

    Depart after lunch towards Ayers Rock or Alice Springs.
    Lunch is not included in the tour price. You can purchase lunch at the café restaurant in Kings Canyon.

    After that, return to Ayers Rock Resort around 17:00 to 18:00.
    The closing time varies depending on the season.

    Sunrise Tour & Olgas Rock Group - Kata Tjuta Walk

    Welcome from Outback Pioneer.

    April to September: 5:00 to 6:00
    October-March: 4:30-5:15

    To Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park.
    ★Sunrise Tour
    At the Sunrise Viewing Area in Talinguru Nyakunytjaku, you can watch the first light of dawn slowly cross the desert plains. As the morning sun approaches the horizon, enjoy the sight of Uluru gradually revealing itself while warming up with coffee or tea.

    To Kata Tjuta (The Olgas).
    On the way to the Olga Rocks, we stop several times at places with good views.

    ★Walpa Gorge Walk
    Stroll along the walking path.

    Afterward, transfer to the hotel at Ayers Rock Resort.
