The stunning café 'Desert Boys' in the Indian desert.

The city of Jaisalmer, located in the state of Rajasthan in northwestern India.
This area is largely covered by desert and has many yellow buildings, earning it the nickname 'Golden City' due to its landscape.

Jaisalmer Fort, located on a hill in Jaisalmer, is a major tourist attraction in this area.
Let me introduce a café in the castle town that I highly recommend.

The breathtaking desert café 'Desert Boys'

On this day, I visited Jaisalmer Fort and was exploring the castle town.
The castle town of Jaisalmer Fort itself is lined with yellow buildings and has a very atmospheric feel, but I discovered a shop with a particularly striking exterior!
I casually asked the tour guide who brought me, 'Can we go in here?' and entered the shop.

The interior was a beautiful yellow with a nice atmosphere, and personally, it reminded me more of Central or South America than India.
I really entered without any prior information, but as I moved through the shop and approached a window seat, an incredible view came into sight.

What came into view was Jaisalmer Fort and the cityscape of Jaisalmer!
Enjoying a leisurely café time while taking in the breathtaking views is the best.
This was truly what you call Instagram-worthy.

The other customers were only locals and Western travelers, but the good seats with views were fully occupied.
I had already had lunch that day, so I just relaxed a bit with chai at a seat with a partial view, but it was such an elegant feeling.

The blue sky, yellow buildings, and comfortable temperature combined to make it an absolutely wonderful place.
Honestly, it was such an amazing café that it would be worth visiting Jaisalmer Palace just to come here!

It seems there are a few restaurants with great views like this in the area, so if this place is full, you might want to ask your guide to find another one.
By the way, the business hours are From late August to March 15th, and it's too hot to stay open outside of that period. I think that's what they said..
