Introducing Erawan Waterfall located in Thailand's Erawan National Park.
The waterfall stretches over 1,500 meters and has levels from 1 to 7, so you can enjoy hiking around or swimming in the waterfall, making it a place where you can spend a whole day.
Erawan Waterfall, said to be the most beautiful in Thailand
Erawan Waterfall in Erawan National Park has a total of 7 levels, and the levels increase as you move from the entrance to the back.
The guide mentioned that from Level 5 onwards, the slope becomes quite steep, making it more like serious mountain climbing.
Besides Erawan Waterfall, this national park is quite large and also has campsites, so visiting for camping might be a good idea.
So, after arriving at the national park and walking around, we saw Erawan Waterfall.
A magnificent waterfall shining in emerald green appears before you, justifying its reputation as "the most beautiful in Thailand."
I think it's worth visiting just to see it!
However, to be honest, the purpose of the visit wasn't just to see Erawan Waterfall, I wanted to swim!!
Anyone can enter if they rent a life jacket at the entrance (20 baht).
By the way, I didn't have beach sandals, but swimsuits and beach sandals were sold at the entrance of the national park. Each was 100 baht (about 400 yen), so it seemed unnecessary to bring them.
Personally, the Level 2 waterfall was very bright, had good visibility, and was spacious, making it perfect for getting into the water.
The weather was good and it was hot that day, so the water was pleasantly cool and felt amazing.
There were a lot of fish in the water, and when I floated still, they nibbled at my feet, which surprised me at first.
Splashing around in the water, entering the waterfall basin and getting hit by a lot of water, playing in the water was just fun.
If you have the stamina, I think you'll enjoy swimming with a swimsuit.
After playing at the Level 2 waterfall for a while, we walked towards the other level waterfalls.
The path was well-maintained, so there was no problem at all even with beach sandals.
The other level waterfalls are deeper in the mountains and have a different atmosphere.
We only went up to Level 4 due to time, but there were many tourists in regular attire up to that point, making it feel easy to visit.
At the Level 3 waterfall, other tourists were only dipping their feet in the water, and it seemed like there were fish similar to doctor fish (but several times larger than you might imagine), with a lot of fish swarming around their feet.
We repeated short hikes and water play, and although we initially planned to stay for about 30 minutes, we ended up playing for about 2 hours because it was so much fun.
I think Erawan Waterfall, where you can experience playing in magnificent nature that is hard to find in Japan, is worth visiting at least once.
